Goldie's Mom says:
Jacqueline Gaillard is a
genuine "Animal Whisperer" - with dogs, cats, birds, and more exotic
creatures. But it's her truly marvelous way with dogs that I've been
privileged to enjoy. Our shepherd mix, Goldie, was a scared, scrawny,
sickly four-year-old orphan we adopted from the local animal shelter.
She'd clearly been abused and severely neglected, she'd never had any
training at all, and she was very afraid to trust. And then we met
Jacqueline. She brought Goldie back to life! The fear and trepidation
melted away! Goldie is now a happy, healthy, secure, well-adjusted, and
literate member of our family. She has a broad vocabulary of words,
commands, and excellent behaviors - with us and with the cats we already
live with!
Even more important, Jacqueline trained US - my husband and myself, plus
our two teenagers AND their friends from the band
Acidic. All of us have benefited from
Jacqueline's example regarding how to live happily ever after with a new
dog. She's like a Mary Poppins for pets and pet families!

Dog eats furniture
Last year we decided that a
dog would be a good addition to our family.
We went to the local shelter and found a
very cute dog we named “Fire Chief “. After
a month of adjusting to his new environment
Fire Chief, we now call him “FC”, began to
behave badly. Anything he could get his
mouth on became a chew toy. In addition to
this habit, he would not give any of these
items back when we asked for them. We
finally realized we needed professional help
when he began to eat the furniture (see
photo). The arm of the sofa was his favorite
chew toy.
Jacqueline came to our home and met with our entire
family. She worked with us and explained things we could do to avoid
situations that were unacceptable in our home. She gave us direction on how to stimulate the dog’s mind and
body to keep him healthy and anxiety free. By using Jacqueline’s tips, problem solving
toys, exercise, and training, FC has become the wonderful dog we always
hoped he could be (and we bought a new couch).

Highly reactive dog needs help
I met Jacqueline at the park, while she was working with another client.
Since I had a dog that was lunging and barking at everything, I asked
her about training sessions. She suggested that we start very
soon, because my dog was a reactive dog. If we didn't start
working on it, she cautioned me that it would get worse. Three
months later, I could not take the dog (Max) anywhere without it
reacting wildly. I wish I had taken her advice sooner.
There was a significant difference with Max after our first session.
I was shocked to see the change in him. At the second session, he
seemed like a different dog in her presence. She gave us homework
and with additional sessions, Max has become a well mannered dog.
Jacqueline even taught him how to be quiet in the car, and not react to
people walking by it.

Thanks for the awesome classes

Jacqueline's classes were so valuable. My little rescue, Cher,
needed so much help. Because there were just a few of us students,
we all got a lot of attention.
I would have never guessed that my Cher would have been able to learn
all those things in just 6 weeks.
We cannot thank you enough.
